PPE production update

Our Technology department is working round the clock to produce and supply vital PPE. Visors and surgical mask buckles are being used by frontline workers in the NHS, local care homes and charities, including homeless shelters and refugee centres.

The team has taken on a coordination role for the South East and has become a central hub for delivery and distribution of equipment to help supply those most in need. Today, 350 visors are in the field being used by King’s College Hospital Neurology, Sutton Valence Surgery and the refugee centre in Dulwich among others, with more requests placed for local organisations including the Kent and Medway Adolescent Unit.

GP surgeries, care homes and frontline staff who are interested in receiving visors should register their interest with 3DCrowd at https://www.3dcrowd.uk/

Schools with the capacity to fabricate and/or 3D print can also volunteer via the above website.
