IB results 2021

Many congratulations to the Class of 2021 on their outstanding IB results.

Our 235 strong cohort have achieved the school’s highest ever average Diploma score of 41.3 points, more than eight points above the world average.

Thirty students achieved the maximum 45 points, with 48 securing 44 points and another 38 securing 43 points. Almost 75 per cent of the cohort achieved 40 points or more – another truly remarkable result.

Mr Jesse Elzinga, Headmaster, said: ‘In a year of disruption, our students’ hard work, professionalism and dedication was phenomenal, and we are proud of their creative, inquisitive and committed approach to their studies and co-curricular activities.

‘The IB Diploma, the global gold standard of education, will enable our students to proceed to the world’s best universities, with 94 per cent achieving a place at their firm-choice university.’

Over 170,000 students from more than 150 countries took the IB Diploma last year. The IB’s outlook is invaluable, empowering our students to flourish in the global community. Our school leavers of 2021 are inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who will help to create a better and more peaceful world.
