“The school’s ethos of enquiry, knowledge, care and inclusivity is thoroughly embedded in school life. Pupils and staff alike understand and embrace these values; they are lived out in the daily experiences of the community.”

We are delighted to share with you some highlights from our 2025 Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Report, following our inspection in September.

The inspectors were hugely impressed by the global outlook of Sevenoaks, our culture of care and the supportive learning environment we provide for our students. They write:

“The school is welcoming and friendly, and leaders actively promote pupils’ wellbeing alongside high academic expectations… at all levels the curriculum emphasises a global education which prioritises the acquisition of languages and the understanding of society at large in different cultures.”

They also identified our Service and Partnership Programme as a ‘significant strength’. This is the highest accolade and is only awarded to areas of a school’s provision that prove to be outstanding across the sector.

ISI inspections are a comprehensive and rigorous assessment of educational quality, student development, welfare and safety, conducted every three years.
