Huge congratulations to Mr David Hall on receiving an Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Chicago. He was nominated by a former student of Sevenoaks now studying at the university.
Every year, UChicago gives new students the opportunity to recognise the teachers who have made a difference in their lives. The prestigious award has existed for over three decades and asks students to nominate teachers from their high schools whose guidance has helped them along the path toward intellectual growth.
The university describes an Outstanding Educator as someone who shapes young minds in meaningful ways by thoughtfully approaching instruction, sharing an infectious love for learning, and caring for students both inside and outside of the classroom.
All award winners receive a commemorative award, certificate, and letter that includes details from the student who nominated them.
