Dr Nic Masters (OS 1990) has been appointed by the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust as head veterinarian at Jersey Zoo. Nic previously worked as a director of wildlife health at The Zoological Society of London and Toronto Zoo.
Eva Okaro (OS 2023) won three races at the Aquatics GB Championships and has qualified for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Her sister Izzy Okaro (OS 2023) won the 50m Freestyle Gold at the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Short Course for the University of Birmingham, subsequently competing for the swim club at the Aquatics GB Championships.
The play Kenrex, directed and co-written by Ed Stambollouian (OS 2006), received six nominations at the Olivier Awards in April, including Best Director for Ed and Best New Play. Actor and co-writer Jack Holden took home the Best Actor award. The show has now transferred to Broadway.

Coco Streets (OS 2020) is a graduate of Kent Cricket’s Female Talent Pathway. In 2025 she became Kent Women’s Vice Captain and scored her first century for the county in the opener of the 2026 season in the Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup against Derbyshire Falcons.
Jon Thornton (OS 1985) who created the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts Sound Technology programme, has received the Special Recognition Award from the Music Producers Guild, given in appreciation of a person’s contribution to the music industry.
